Xcel Energy's White Birch Campground is a scenic, secluded site on the shores of the Holcombe River flowage in northern Wisconsin. The 44-lot site is open to Xcel Energy employees (active or retired) and their families and friends throughout our five-state service area from May 1st through September 30th.
White Birch is an ideal campground and locale for outdoor activities--including hiking, swimming, fishing and boating. The area is encircled by a nature trail and features a swimming beach, picnic facilities, and children's playground. Other amenities include a garbage disposal station, toilets and showers. A cabin is also available to rent. The cabin fits 4-6 people comfortably, up to 8 maximum and features a large family area complete with wood-burning fireplace that connects to a finished kitchen. Outside the cabin has a covered sitting and dining area, waterfront view and dock access.
Xcel Energy invites employees, retirees, their families and friends to visit White Birch Campground. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long week of hard work.

Fitting 4-6 people comfortably, the cabin features a large family area complete with wood-burning fireplace that connects to a finished kitchen. Outside the cabin is a covered sitting and dining area, waterfront view and dock access.
Rental of the cabin is open to all Xcel Energy employees and their families. A $100 deposit is required and will be returned within one week after inspection upon departure. The cost is $75 per night with a 2 night minimum reservation. Weekly rate: $450. Monthly rate: $1450.

Reservation Procedures:
Employees can begin to make reservations as of March 1st unless otherwise communicated by the board president. White Birch is open from May 1st through October 1st. Please email or call for reservations.
